Breast Pump Insurance FAQ

1. Can I really get a Free Breast Pump, no catch?

Yes. The new Affordable Care Act (ACA) includes provisions requiring Insurance Companies to pay 100% for a Breast Pump. Getting yours free will depend on your specific Insurance. This is where we help. We will call your insurance directly to determine your exact coverage. If you are ACA compliant, you can receive a pump free. We’ll even pay for the shipping.

2. Do I need a prescription?

In order for your insurance to pay, you will need a prescription from you Doctor. We can request this on your behalf.

3. Where can I get a breast Pump via Insurance?

You’re in the right place! Providing breast pumps through insurance coverage is all we do.

All you have to do is complete this form. We’ll confirm your eligibility for coverage of a breast pump, and take care of all the necessary details with you.

4. Which pump can I get?

As you can see from the Breast Pumps Tab, there are several brands and models to choose from. Some of these models include additional accessories such as extra bottles, flanges, batteries, carry cases, etc. Unfortunately, not all insurance companies will pay for these extra items. Once we acquire your insurance details, we can walk you through the models that are free to you. If you would like the extra accessories, you’ll just need to pay a small “Upgrade” fee. Shipping will still be free.

5. When should I place my order?

If you plan on breastfeeding, you can order a pump immediately. Don’t wait until the baby is born, you’ll be quite busy then.

6. When will my breast pump be shipped?

Timing is dictated by your insurance company. Some insurances allow us to ship immediately while others require the baby to be born first. We will identify that when we call them. That said, you can still order your pump now and we’ll ship when your insurance permits.

7. Are the breast pumps returnable?

Due to the personal nature of these products, Breast Pumps are non-returnable. Should you have any issues with your Breast Pump, the Manufacturer requests that you contact them directly.
